He was exposed to Unyte/ILS and SSP during his professional development. The effect these programs have on clients’ wellbeing is profound. It became evident that adding SSP and Focus (where appropriate) to the treatment plan gave clients long-lasting benefits.
Damian Laidler
Damian has a long history of working with people in various people-related services. He has a Diploma in counselling and completed his Degree in counselling in 2020. He has practised counselling in a trauma-informed special school for students who, for the most part, were expelled from schools across the central coast, where he enjoyed a great deal of success in improving the outcome for those her counselled. He also has experience counselling youth and young people in the LGBTI community.
Damian is comfortable providing counselling services across the lifespan. His focus on education has led him to develop skills in several modalities, but he prefers person-centred therapy.
